Seeking any goal is as much about the struggle as the prize. It is like trying to ride a bicycle on top of an iron fence. You will fall over and over again, and the prize is simply one ride. Achieving the goal is a worthy accomplishment, but I believe it is the struggle that drives us. Achieving this degree has been a struggle, one that defines those who have participated. The graduation ceremony, the sheepskin, the meager salary increase, even the opportunities that are now open all pale in comparison to the struggle. That leads to another video and another analogy. It isn't the mountain, or getting to the other side. It's the climb.
